First Ayurvedic Center Incorporates EECP® Therapy into Its Program

January 6, 2012 (Westbury, New York) - VasoMedical, Inc. Sri Sri Ayurveda Panchakarma, the Ayurveda and Wellness Spa at the Art of Living International Centre in Bangalore, India, a specialized center for holistic heart care, is the most recent of the 85 EECP® treatment facilities currently operating in India. The EECP® facility is operated and managed in collaboration with the Global Heart Foundation, Pune and Enhanced Hearts, Bangalore.
The opening was attended by His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who commented that “EECP is the first allopathic treatment which does not involve invasive procedure or medication but provides clinical improvement to cardiac patients in a natural way. Hence this natural treatment will work synergistically with our Ayurvedic therapies to enhance health without adverse side effects.” The inauguration was also attended by Shri. Prasanth S. Nair (Director, Sri Sri Ayurveda Panchakarma), Dr. S. Ramasamy (International Medical Director of the International EECP® Therapists Association), Mr.Sujal Narayan (Trustee Global Heart Foundation) and Dr. Sanjay Shirbur (Director Enhanced Heart).
Art of Living International Center announced that “Shri Prasanth S. Nair and Dr. S. Ramasamy will create an educational program about the specialized treatment protocol combining Ayurvedic Panchakarma with EECP® Therapy to enhance cardiac and vascular health. The advanced combined Therapy will be provided to patients suffering from cardiovascular disease, as well as to patients who are high risk for developing cardiovascular diseases”. This advance combined Therapy will be soon implemented across India in Art of Living centers.
