Position Summary:

The Technology Support Specialist will be the primary provider of remote technology support services for VasoHealthcare’s employees. They will be responsible for administrating the technology assets for employees and helping with technology projects as required. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, adaptable analytical thinkers, and who have a diverse technological background. They must possess problem-solving skills and be able to effectively and proactively prioritize and track tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent remote technology support to end users within a matrix organization
  • Support assets connected to the VasoHealthcare domain as well as the client’s domain
  • Support primarily Microsoft and Apple ecosystems
  • Work as a part of a small, specialized team of technologists to solve complex issues and backup other members of the technology team as needed
  • Set up, support, maintain, and track corporate technology assets ranging from laptops to iPads
  • Maintain a high level of organization and proactivity
  • Operate independently, multi-tasking and reprioritizing quickly
  • Develop and maintain methods to record and track critical activity
  • Actively propose resolutions and work towards consensus among stakeholders
  • Assist in authoring documentation to support end users
  • Maintain knowledge of the changing technology landscape and ensure that industry best practices are followed

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or applicable technology certification
  • Five years of experience in technology support
  • Ability to travel when required (<10%)
  • Ability to operate outside of standard business hours to support the technology infrastructure
  • Exceptional customer service skills supporting solutions for a consultative remotely located sales team
  • Outstanding communication skills: Must demonstrate accurate, enthusiastic, and effective representation of thoughts, ideas, and concepts, both in writing and orally
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows 10, Windows 11, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of SMB class technology, security, and networking principals
  • Experience with iOS, iPadOS, and Android mobile operating systems, end user hardware deployments, and Git based source control
  • Ability to cross train others and know when to delegate out work /escalate issues, present ideas to client and executive management as required, and to depict concepts in a visual manner (graphically or otherwise)
  • Ambition to dedicate personal time to growing knowledge on new technologies
