Ultrasound Account Manager – (Dallas Territory)

The Ultrasound Account Manager is responsible for driving direct sales to maximize revenue growth for the VasoHealthcare Ultrasound channel. This role includes developing new customer relationships and managing existing accounts within the assigned geography.

The Ultrasound Account Manager will collaborate with their GE HealthCare counterparts and VasoHealthcare colleagues to ensure full market coverage. The UAM will partner with their GE HealthCare Product Sales Specialist(s) and Clinical Specialist to demo equipment, coordinate go-live applications training, and ensure ongoing customer education and satisfaction. The Ultrasound Account Manager is responsible for the quarterly and annual attainment of Ultrasound Orders and Revenue targets for their assigned geography. The Ultrasound Sales Specialist will promote the sale of GE HealthCare products including General Imaging, Cardiovascular, Point of Care and Digital Ultrasound products. The Ultrasound Account Manager has primary responsibility for visibility and funnel growth in the assigned accounts.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own achievement of Ultrasound Orders operating plan, making necessary plans and adjustments to attain or exceed OP quarterly and annually
  • Exceed Territory revenue operating plan by actively managing the order-to-installation process
  • Achieve a set performance mix, including balanced selling across the four Ultrasound segments: General Imaging, Cardiovascular, Point of Care, and Digital
  • Maintain working knowledge of the GE Healthcare Ultrasound product features, benefits, value propositions, selling strategies and competitive tactics in each of the assigned care areas
  • Work to understand the competitive market and the strengths and weaknesses of the GE HealthCare portfolio for specific territory

Activities  

  • Manage the health of sales funnel using company reports and tools, including an up-to-date Salesforce funnel. Report monthly forecast to Ultrasound Sales Director and local leaders
  • Implement strategies to improve funnel health where necessary, including prospecting to build funnel to at least 4x the annual operating plan
  • Develop, build and cultivate long-term relationships with key management and clinical stakeholders within the customer organizations
  • Coordinate and support sales demonstrations, product shipments, installations and in services alongside the Clinical Specialist
  • Develop and execute strategy for retaining current client base, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the full lifecycle of equipment
  • Foster a collaborative relationship with other GE HealthCare sales and service representatives and VasoHealthcare Account Managers to support territory success
  • Participate in training and development programs, including learning the key business drivers and market dynamics that may impact customers business case for the acquisition of new equipment

Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel extensively throughout assigned region to maintain a high level of visibility at customer sites
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Must be able to make presentations, develop proposals and price quotations for a variety of healthcare professionals
  • Must have financial selling skills and the ability to develop and implement a sales strategy
  • Must be able to act as the primary contact for customers during contract negotiations, marketing information requests, demand analysis, clinical specifications
  • Must attend all training provided by the company

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferably in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, and/or Leadership.
  • 3+ years of Ultrasound sales experience
  • Awareness of ultrasound product applications and served healthcare markets
